Come As You Are
Jesus said "Come", and all of us come to Jesus just as we are. He loved us from the start, and His love encourages us to follow wherever He leads! Come join us in getting to know our Savior.
New Heritage Pastors
God called me to ministry in December of 2010 and at that moment I began a new mission, a mission to utilize the training and experience I received in Special Forces and bring it to the church. Teresa and I gladly accept the challenge God has placed in our life and all we ask of you is to “Come as you are”.
When I was truly willing to commit, I threw myself into study and was mentored by an accomplished theologian. I also spent several years as a student with William Carey International University, geared towards mission work. My first "mission" was actually at Jubilee Youth Ranch, where I lived and worked with at-risk youth. I found New Heritage after two years of recovering from serious bone marrow cancer treatment. I am now blessed to have an opportunity to share what I believe is the heart of God towards all.
When I graduated high school I moved up to Spokane WA where I began work in ministry, after years of serving in my youth group at South Hills Church. Ive always been drawn to serving others and working for the kingdom. God blessed me with a passion for worship ministry and I'm so thankful for the opportunity to serve now at New Heritage Church.
Going through all of that, God gave me the conviction that working with the children was to prepare them: How to make it through rough times, handling success and failure, and how to stay grounded in all things. As Children’s Director, I work to lay a foundation and prepare the children as if they don’t get any other mentoring in their lives outside of church! My goal is to teach them to stay firm in their faith, and to live with the character that Jesus would like them to. The children are our next generation of leaders. Don’t underestimate the children that come out of our church!
Pastor Gordon's vision is for the church to be a "gathering place" where the community can come together for events, classes, games, etc. Jesus did not intend for the church to isolate itself, but to be a light, show love, and to be there for one another. God has a special place for each person in his family, so come as you are and let Him do the rest.
Pastor Gordon leads the local Point Man Outpost. This ministry is run by veterans from all conflicts, offering spiritual healing from PTSD. Point Man is also involved in community outreach through conferences, speaking, hospital visits, and welcome home projects.
Meetings on the 3rd Tuesday every month; 6:30pm in the conference room at Sharehouse Coffee
2150 Keene Rd in Richland, WA.
Thru all trials & troubles God has been faithful to bring me thru it!!
God is always faithful. At that perfect time when I think I can’t make it, he’s always come through.
I am thankful for God’s grace, love, and peace.
All that matters is to be faithful and to be a witness to the Lord Jesus.
My intimacy with God is unexplainable. Make your relationship with God a priority.
An intimate and a faithful relationship to the Lord Jesus is essential to fulfilling God’s plan.
